English in a Teachers home for children

Postby english4kids » Mon, 15 Sep 2008 04:41:51 -0500

Hi, I'm an ESL teacher in Budapest, working mostly with juniors.

We had some of our students between 8 and 13 years staying in
England and Ireland this summer in programmes for pupils called
"English in a Teachers home", where they got lessons tailored
to their needs in a friendly family environment.

This was organised by the folks at English.K12 which were
very helpful. The children made good progress and were
very happy when they came back.

They also have scholarships and sponsoring available, from EU funding
for new EU member states, and from sports organisations and industry
for low-income families.
